Omei is one of our Presenters who works full time and manages to teach incredible classes through her sheer passion and dedication to sport and fitness. It hasn’t always been like this and Omei, like many people didn’t exercise for a long time, coming back to sport after a 15 year gap. But within a couple of years she was running in the London Marathon at sub four hours and from there has gone from strength to strength training as a triathlon competitor. Her main passion at present is for karate, she hopes to get her black belt this Dec 2008, but she still has time to enjoy boxing, circuits, spinning and Personal Training.
Her classes represent her energy and commitment to helping others get fitter.
“Quite simply I aim to teach in a way that I would like to be taught. I try to build confidence in the people I work with, I try to motivate and provide an interesting and fun workout. The challenge in a fitness class is to provide an appropriate work out for everybody in that class, whatever their fitness level. I want everyone in my classes to get the most they possibly can from me, I strive for this all the time.”
Omei teaches classes in and around West London and is a popular and well respected teacher.
“Being fit makes me feel good about myself, it’s good to know my body is working at it’s best and I hope to pass my enthusiasm to the people I work with. I get so much enjoyment out of the exercise I do. Not only do I get the physical benefits I also get to meet so many people. Taking part in any physical activity opens many doors. It’s great when I can share my own enthusiasm for health and fitness with others.
