Bio:

Tim has had a long history of involvement in sports and fitness, which has matured and evolved through different phases of his life. He was a successful gymnast in his teenage years and competed in many national competitions. He moved into general fitness and personal training and was respected and well regarded for his seamless choreography and fun combinations and his ability to motivate clients and participants to reach their goals.

Then several years ago Tim made the transition to becoming a Yoga instructor and this had a big impact on him. “I realised it is not about being the best at what I do that is important.  It is about teaching from the heart and teaching with humility thats important, making a person feel good about them selves, helping them to find happiness and peace within for a full, healthy and happy life.”

Tim teaches predominantly in West London where he runs a personal training business as well as Karma Retreats his yoga focused holiday company. Tim is a respected Presenter of fitness and presents regularily at most of the Uk s big fitness conventions.

Fitness, both physical and mental, is a priority to Tim. He observes that we often focus heavily on the physical fitness of ourselves rather than out mental wellbeing. “ I have grown to realise the importance of “mental fitness”, it sounds corny but you have to love yourself from the inside to find true happiness, but you also have to look after your physical body through exercise and nutrition, in order to live a long and productive life.”

Tim’s Tips:
Try to plan your workouts effectively to make the optimum use of your time to achieve results.
Try to maintain balance in your life between your lifestyle and your work out routines. This will make your life more enjoyable.
Try to listen to your body by not over training or pushing yourself too far as this is not productive.

This workout starts out great, with some intermediate choreography to warm you up. Then there is a challenging set of squats and lunges, followed by some floor leg work and abs. In the floor workout, the pace of the class slows way down, and I lost my internal heat. I would like to see the pace kept up. The instruction is great, but maybe start the exercise then add the instruction, rather than give several minutes of instruction before an exercise. The last 20 minutes of this class was much more of a super-beginner class, which wasn't in line with the first 20 minutes. I would also like to see some more advanced cardio and conditioning classes from Tim.
