Bio:

Mila is an experienced and skilled street dance teacher and presents at conventions sporting events. She values her dancing and contribution to the world of fitness even more so as she was ill as a child and unable to dance. However, gentle exercises helped her to build up strength and endurance and from here she was able to take up dancing as a serious hobby, and the rest as they say, is history.

Having been classically trained in most forms of dance has made Mila a performer to watch out for as she regularly appears in DVDs and dance videos.

Mila is driven by the fact that she loves what she does and likes the challenge of learning complex, new choreography but also get huge satisfaction from helping others take their first steps be it in dance or in general exercise classes.

"Fitness makes me feel strong, healthy and more alive".

Mila's Tips:

Never force anything. Take your time and if you are not in the mood don’t force yourself to work out.

Have fun with exercise and if you love it, don’t give in.

Get the right balance between cardio, toning, stretching, dancing and relaxing

Classes available: Central London G.B.

Specialist Areas: Street Dance, Step, Toning

Proudest Moment: Presenter of the year 2006, Presenting at Urban Underground, Presenting on Sports Channel, Warming up 8,000 people at the BUPA 10k Marathon 2006

Hi Dawn, I will put a stretch sheet up as a blog this week, essentially you need to stretch your hamstrings, your calves and your quads and hold each stretch for about 30-40 seconds. I have taken your point on board it would be best all in. Lucy Case Fitness Director

Really good workout, rebounding is fab the only small thing is that no stretches are demonstrated at the end which means you have to go and find another stretching workout, it would have been better if it was all inclusive. Overall good

HI Emma, hope you are well. My view here is that rebounding is not the safest workout and especially not so if you have issues around balance and/or co ordination. ThinQ Fitness is dedicated to providing workouts to all sorts of people so the rebounder is going to be perfect for a percentage of our clients and unsuitable for for another percentage. I suggest you keep you feet on terra firma :) and try things which do challenge you balance and co ordination with out placing you at unnecassary risk. LC FD

Is rebounding safe? I have heard that it is quite dangerous, it looks fun but I am 45 years old and not sure if it suitable for my age group. I am quite fit and the right weight but I dont have good balance and co ordination and worry I may fall off. can you advice me please. Emma
