Description

Kari's swiss ball toning video uses the gym ball for a sequence of toning exercises to strengthen the whole body.

The gym ball is a core component of home exercise equipment and is extremely versatile. However, it does come with a word of caution as it is an unstable surface and so potentially has a risk factor to it. We are convinced of its value in fitness but would advice being careful and just practicing with care until one feels confident. Kari is a master of the stability ball  creating here a video workout which works core strength, upper and lower body and abs.

Fair point ladies and worth noting that one does need to feel secure to use the ball in this way. It is not everyones thing although I dont think it is age related otherwise I will be slipping of mine too by next year !!! I will think about a beg class and keep you posted. Meanwhile why not try something less wobbly. :) go well, LC FD

Yes too hard for me as well, but it is pitched at intermediate. Anything for beginners with a Swiss Ball? ZD

I like Kari a lot and all the sessions, I have a swiss ball but found this a bit too hard and felt wobbly. I see it is an intermediate setting but I still feel this is a bit too much for me. Have you considered an age classification band? I am 45 and feel my days of balancing on balls to be long over. E Hale
