Bio:

Pierre grew up naturally feeling a need and desire to exercise. He can remember at 6 years old getting up in the morning to do 20 press ups and sit ups all just because “it just felt right”. The call of fitness has always been powerful for this dedicated professional athlete who brings you years of expertise and passion in a number of disciplines.

At 11 Pierre started karate and perused this with vigour until at the ripe old age of 13 he became National Shotokan champion and a black belt 2nd Dan. Having excelled in karate Pierre discovered a new passion which was to consume his life, that passion was step. He committed many hours to perfecting his step technique and then moved into the arena of general fitness qualifying as one of the youngest teachers in the UK at just 16.

A career in Presenting blossomed from her as the shy lad of yesterday was replaced by a more confident young man, the years of athleticism have paid off, although on the site Pierre’s choreography is quite tame, he has the skill of a trained dancer and his performance step routines are absolutely staggering.

He now works regularly as an international presenter and also for gym box, fitness fx, jumpy bumpy, clickmix.com, fit fantastic, fit camps, fit pro, fitness fiesta and of course, ThinQ Fitness.

What drives Pierre?

Pierre is driven by a desire to make people feel great through his extensive knowledge of fitness. However, let us not forget that knowing fitness is one thing, inspiring others is another, Pierre’s open and charismatic style really engages with his audience. He puts this down to his “energy and love for health, fitness and music”

Why fitness is important to Pierre?

“Without it I wouldn’t be who and where I am today. A strong body makes a strong mind”.

Pierre’s Tips:

  • Water is the magic fluid, drink it every couple of hours!!
  • Vitamin C is under rated, consume a little more than recommended because if the body doesn’t need it, it will discharge it.
  • The best time to burn body fat is first thing in the morning before breakfast.

I love Pierre's step workouts, I've been doing them for some time from another website but there had been no new ones in ages. Great to find some new choreography from him here, can we have more please?! I much prefer dancy step to straightforward step, the time passes so much more quickly! Thanks

Ha Ha no, I used to do Steve Watson and Karl Frew videos at home and used to find myself wedged in odd corners, off balance as my trainer refused to swivel and my step was all but falling apart. very funny. Or just move into a gorgeous studio AKA flash dance!!! Lucy

Hi Lucy, I am indeed working my way through ALL the int/adv step videos, I love flinging myself around to a bit of music but i fear I may have to laminate my lounge as some of the spinning is not easy on carpet! :-)

Ah well done Carole, yes we all though Paul did very well presenting the cable chat.......not an easy thing to do. Have you tried Paul Gullifords Step and Milas step and indeed my own step? Perhaps these will keep you going until I can get some new ones for you. Pierre is in again soon but it was to do some stuff for kids........but I will have a chat to him nicely in a corner and see what we can do :) Lucy Case Fitness Director

Hello Lucy, Have only just got all the cables etc to hook up my laptop to the TV (thanks to Paul's clear instructions on your website) but Yes i did have enough room... this is my favourite step class. How often are new int/adv step classes added to your site?

EXCELLENT! Thought Pierre's class was fantastic, really REALLY enjoyed it. Also loved the fact that he showed the moves from "our" side of the step. More please. Carole

Hi Sharon, Thank you for writing in. This really is a top-notch choreographed workout so please don't be put off by this level. Opt for the intermediate level Workout Step as apposed to choreography and this should see you working out hard. Mel P and Jayne Nicholls both deliver very good workouts, let me know how you get on.....more is scheduled in the diary, so will keep you posted on it shortly. Lucy

Hi. I think Pierre is great, but this one was a bit beyond me! I'd like some more basic, really high impact step please. Sharon
