Bio:

Alex has dedicated her career to the fitness industry and achieved a respected and loyal fan base. Alex has inspired students and fellow teachers alike with the ease with which she can teach complex routines, so seamlessly. She created the concept of Ballet Fusion which has been taught in hundreds of clubs and was a pivotal Presenter in the development of Hi Lo based fitness routines during the 80`s and 90`s. She has taught for many years at Virgin Active and Amida Health Clubs in West London.

Alex is a trained dancer herself and it has been this passion for dance which she feels has fuelled her journey in being not only so active but also, so fulfilled in life. She believes that “good health not only creates a healthy body but more importantly creates a healthy mind”.

As an experienced writer we are delighted Alex is contributing to our online fitness videos, so please do read her thoughts about life in our Blogs Section. Alex will be contributing to our Lifestyle articles as well, so do keep a look out for her.

Alex’s Tips:

  • Find a workout format you genuinely love, you are more likely to stick with it.
  • Vary your work out constantly to increase overload and to keep challenging your body as well as your mind.
  • Don’t beat your self up if you miss a session, you’re only human. Remember as long as bad habits take to break, good ones take as long to create, so keep at it and don’t give yourself too hard a time.

Hi, Just a quick word to say that I love the session, have been doing the session yesterday and again this morning and Yes, I start to get the moves... Haven't been exercising for over a decade (used to do 3 hours of abs/step or aerobic per day) and 30 kg more, I found it fun, and acceptable to follow... definitively keeps me motivated to loose all the weight gained and be fit again... thanks for the videos and the wide choice. Greetings from France, Isabelle

Hi,I really enjoyed this workout to some degree as at times I would get upset that I couldn't do the choreography/moves. But when I did 'get it' it was very enjoyable. As this was my first time in the class and even though I got upset I know a couple more workouts with this class and I will get better and better at it and I look foreward to this time-I will persevere!! Thanks all and Peace and joy to everyone,Have a fab day/week!! Caroline
