looking for career advice

Hi all,

I've  recently become completely hooked on working out, to the point where im taking every possible moment and opportunity to work out in some way shape or form, even doing calf raises, and lifting things at work. ANyway without wanting to digress to far:

I've been looking online for courses to become qualified as a gym instructor. There are plenty of sites claiming to offer the best courses, for the best prices and all claim to provide REPS points.

However i know that this is a big money industry (at least for those selling it) and a lot of these sites are probably scams. Most of them charge what are frankly extortionate amounts of money for small courses that wont even get you fully qualified. I was wondering if any of the Thinq team could point me in the right direction and perhaps let me know what i actually NEED to become an instructor.

Hope all are well and enjoying the lovely weather.

Matt

Hi Matt, Glad to hear you're motivated and enthusiastic about the fitness industry. On a personal basis I have always found The YMCA courses to be really well run and reasonably priced. If you contact them they will let you know what are the basic requirements. Good luck. Anna
