Exercise for Anxiety and Panic Disorder

Hi all.

I have recently been diagnosed with an Anxiety and Panic disorder. I have taken up Yoga again to try and help me overcome this and it does help in the moment. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other exercise routines or Yoga routines I can practice in order to help me even further?

Hi Andrew, for variation try some Pilates as well. This technique requires concentration and focus to perform the exercises correctly. It can be quite relaxing to be, as they say, "in the moment". Anna

I took up running. It was hard at first but following a couch to 5k plan was the way I went. some days were hard especially if I felt anxious, but as you learn to control your breathing for running it helps. Plus running was a way to get rid of the adreneline which caused the panics
