Is Age All In The Mind?

SocialTwist Tell-a-Friend

Hi ThinQ, I was excited to send in my blog, now ThinQ viewers, the question remains, is ageing all in the mind or can we influence change? My blog reckons we influence change, what do you think?

I think it's all in the mind. Healthy eating and regular exercise helps to slow down the ageing process ;)

I have to say the only time i like being categorised by my age is when i'm racing. I mean why would i want to compete against all those twenty somethings!!

'My grandad used to say "your as young as the woman your feeling" ' My boyfriend keeps saying that! (hes 37) I can happily say as a 21 year old, i feel like a teenager and sometimes i feel like a child, and sometimes i feel realllllyyyy old and sometimes i feel middle aged...I definatly feel theres not many differences between myself and my boyfriend and we have a big age gap, altho when he starts talking about things before i was born.... haha and i really dont notice hes closer to my mums age than mine!! so...end of the day, if a 37 yr old can make a 21 feel the way i feel, age means diddly squat! and there is hope out there for all you men who think your old....anyway...we all know men dont age mentally past 6yrs....=P

I wish aging was in the mind, but as I move into my 40s and bits of the body start falling apart I'm not so sure. We can certainly stay youthful longer, haircuts, clothes, diets, exercise, plus not getting grumpy or too opinionated. I see folks as they get older get a bit too judgmental and even a bit critical of youth. I think it's jealousy! hang lose, keep enjoying life and enjoy each day. S

I reckon we can up to a point but "when your back goes out more than you do" (just heard that on the radio) then you know its age related!!
