Well we have dragged Paul out of the dark room he occupies to tell us all how we can connect our PCs to our TVs to get that big screen feeling.

What You'll Need To Buy To Make The Connection.

We have listed the options here in the order of the quality they will give you once you have made the connection. So the HDMI option gives you the highest quality.

Audio Video Cable

This is probably the simplest connection as it comes with the audio connection built in, with the others we need to purchase a seperate cable for the audio. However this method doesn't deliver great video quality.

S-Video Cable

Again not great quality but a simple connection. Do make sure that your PC has the connection, don't try any of the converters that may be sold with this type of cable. This cable requires a seperate audio cable see below.

VGA Cable

Easy if you are used to the concept of connecting your PC for presentations. Your PC will have it as an option but make sure your TV has this type of connector. This cable requires a seperate audio cable see below.

HDMI Cable

The best quality connection. However only found on newer PCs and laptops. You can also find that you have a DVI connection, don't worry about the acronym, but look for a DVI to HDMI cable instead. Again this cable requires a seperate audio cable see below.

Audio Cables

These are one of two types as shown below, you will need to check the connectors on your TV, and make sure you use the audio connections that correspond to the connector you used for the cables above.

Don't forget you will need to select the right source using your TV remote control. Any problems drop us an email, and we'll see what we can do.
