Welcome to ThinQ Fitness

 

We are the most innovative fitness channel, able to cater to a huge audience, all at the click of a button. We have top presenters, incredible “real” music and we have a range of classes all taught and checked for their quality and safety. We are recognised for our work by Change 4 Life and our commitment to helping folks from all walks of life, be you frail, older, younger, larger, male, female, new mother, fit dancer, street wiz, ballet dancer, weak hipped, strong boned, lacking muscle, wanting a six pack or indeed just new!!

 

We can provide you with workouts which educate as you do them, articles to top up your knowledge and interest in health, blogs for you to read thoughts and ideas from our trainers and a forum for you to have your say.

 

General Information

 

  1. We stream we don’t download. This means you watch us “live” like on TV and because of this, we can bring you fantastic music, which, if you go to other Fitness Channels you will observe very quickly they all play DIRE MUSIC.
  2. All you need is a great connection via the internet and if you are super keen then follow this video and quite easily you can watch us on your tv.
  3. Can’t figure out how to use the site? Then click here and Lucy will explain. You'll also find this link on the home page.
  4. If you register with us you get access to more videos for free, look for the videos listed as 0.00. This takes three mins and ties you into nothing.
  5. Please click FAQ (frequently asked questions) in the About Us section of the site for more info.

 

Video Sessions

 

  • Aerobics: hi lo with choreography, hi impact basic moves, fat loss, rebounder
  • Breathe: maternity, Tai chi, Yoga, Pilates, stretch
  • Core/abs: separate focused sessions to compliment your workouts
  • Cardio: skip fit, combat, circuits, boxing
  • Dance: ballet, jazz, mtv, Irish, street, cheerleading etc
  • Health: High BMI (obesity adults and teens), seniors, injury fit, hip strength, sit-fit
  • General: Legs Tums and Bums, all over toning, light weight toning, bands, bars etc
  • Kids/Teens/Families: Teens Street and toning, kid’s combat, family workouts
  • New to Fitness: New to fitness six week course and follow-on simple classes
  • Short workouts: Pressed for time, condensed workouts focussing on different areas of fitness
  • Sports: Use our gym workouts for training; enjoy spin, rowing and other equipment based training.
  • Step: Step to sweat or tone or step with choreography
  • Weights: Pumping iron for toning or for muscle gain

 

Choosing Your Level

 

  • Complete Beginner: We offer Intro-Fit which covers all basic moves and also builds a person up from zero fitness to entry level fitness for our classes and gym work-outs.
  • Beginner: New to fitness, wants to build up, not too challenging
  • Intermediate: Bit of experience, likes a good workout and a bit of a challenge.
  • Advanced: Can work out at quite an intense level and is quite experienced in chosen skill.

Yes, best way to use the site. You need to feel a bond with your trainer and also suss out what they call stuff as it does vary sometimes. LC

This was so useful, it helps clear up a few things as it seems straight forward but with all things new it can be confusing. The classes along the top row are the most popular classes and I have found them to be a good guide to choosing a session when I haven't been too sure what to do. I am beginning now to develop a feel for the teachers I prefer and it does take a while. So, new comers, do give a lot of the videos a go before settling with a trainer as I was really impatient but it has paid off.
